Although Ireland may not be known for its cuisine I still had some incredible food there! Here’s a list of some of my favorite places to eat in Dublin, plus a few others that come highly recommended.

1. Hang Dai

This super cute Asian restaurant that looks like a train carriage on the inside, has a fantastic tasting menu, which is great to share with a group of friends! It’s a super small restaurant so I would recommend getting a reservation in advance.

I walked in alone and still had to wait an hour for my seat at the bar, so definitely book in advance and get the kung pao chicken!

2. Copper and Straw Coffee

Our Cafés – Copper + Straw

For your morning (or afternoon) pick me up I recommend the coffee at Copper and Straw. It’s a fantastic specialty coffee shop with a few locations in Dublin and fantastic coffee. During lunch, they also serve the yummiest cheesiest sandwiches that look soo good!

3. El Grito

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to make it to El Grito, but it is a highly recommended stop in Dublin. Finding decent Mexican food in Europe can be a challenge, but this place does a fantastic It’s a small restaurant so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with a large group.

The gorgeous ambiance of this restaurant aligns perfectly with the fantastic pizza at this restaurant in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. It’s known as one of the greatest pizza spots in Dublin and in my opinion is worth the visit!

5. Tapas de Lola

As a lover of Spain (I think they call it an Iberophile), I love visiting tapas restaurants when I get a chance. Tapas de Lola comes highly recommended as one of the bests in Dublin. As always make sure you make a reservation ahead of time as it is very popular. And don’t forget to order the garlic prawns!

6. Night Market

This Thai Restaurant is known as one of the best places to eat in Dublin! Its authentic plates and top-tier service make it a delicious vacation addition. Some would even say it’s comparable to restaurants in Thailand.

7. Seafood Cafe

As a major seafood lover, I am critical of what people call good seafood. However, the Seafood Cafe in Dublin is fantastic. Oysters were fresh and delicious and so were the king prawn tacos! This place also has great cocktails and I highly recommend it!

8. Library St.

Library Street Dublin - The Menu — LIBRARY st

This hidden gem isn’t well known from a tourist perspective, however, I do enjoy lurking on the internet to see what the locals are into. Library St came up a few times in my searches as a great place to bring a group since everything is shareable. A unique space with unique dishes, this place should be on your list for your next Dublin trip!
