Beach Vacation Packing List Ideas

Underwater Camera

This DJI Action 4 water proof camera for travel has actually been on my wishlist for a while. It’s the perfect camera for the adventure traveler that actually produces very nice 4K videos.

I’ve read TONS of reviews, watched youtube videos comparing it to the GoPro, and of course did my Reddit research, and this camera gets really great reviews.

Eco-Friendly Option: Reef Safe Sunscreen

I always try to ensure sustainable travel is ingrained everything I post, and this is truly an item that I would always include in my beach vacation packing list!

Sunscreen is super important for everyone, however the chemicals can have a toxic effect on the coral reefs in the ocean. Therefore reef safe sunscreen which excludes ingredients such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, or avobenzone.

Handheld Turbo Fan

This product isn’t just great for a tropical vacation packing list, but I honestly bring this little device everywhere! It’s so nice when the weather is insanely hot and the charge lasts a long time.

Waterproof Travel Speaker

Of course a beach trip is not complete if it doesn’t include a speaker, which is why I’ve included a water proof speaker as one of the best travel gadgets for international trips.

I actually recently purchased this item for a pool day and tested it in the water and had no issues at all! The battery life is fantastic and it’s small enough to fit in the smallest carry-on bag.

Portable Charger

Have you ever noticed that phones die SO much faster when you’re on the beach, or is that just me. That’s why another item I’ve added to this beach vacation packing list is of course the portable charger.

This is also great after a long day of touring around a city, and being able to recharge your phone. Gone are the days of desperately searching for an outlet in the local McDonald’s!

Waterproof Fanny Pack

I bought this waterproof fanny pack for my solo trip to Costa RIca and was able to go in the water with my phone, hotel key, and credit card inside! I was a little paranoid and put everything in another plastic bag as well, but everything came out super dry.

I was able to swim as long as I wanted and had no issues. Easily one of the top items for your tropical vacation packing list! 

Eco-Friendly Option: Canvas Tote Bag

This canvas tote bag is made of jute and cotton and perfect for your beach vacation packing list.

I bought one of these and it has beocme a staple for all of my tropical vacations. They’re easy to lay flat in your suitcase and can be taken anywhere. These are super affordable and can be used a million times!
